Important Announcement: PRQ Token Sunsetting & Migration to REACT

The Reactive Network is taking a major leap forward—and that means it's time to say goodbye to PRQ.

We’re officially sunsetting the PRQ token as we transition to REACT, the native utility token of the Reactive Network. This upgrade isn’t just about a new ticker—it’s about embracing a more powerful, community-first ecosystem built for event-driven smart contracts and automation across chains.

Manual Token Swap Required

All PRQ holders can complete the 1:1 swap to REACT by July 31, 2025 using the official Token Portal.

📌 Two way swaps will remain open until July 31, 2025 where we'll share more details on the changes to the bridge which will take place at this time.

The REACT token powers the Reactive Network’s smart contract platform and supports staking, transaction fees, and cross-chain automation. It comes in two forms:

  • Native REACT: Used for network operations, including validator staking and gas fees.
  • ERC-20 Wrapped REACT: Tradable on Ethereum-compatible platforms.

The swap mechanism requires users to bridge PRQ to REACT using the official Token Portal. Full documentation and step-by-step instructions are available on the Reactive Network blog.

Information for OKX Users

PRQ holders on OKX are advised to withdraw their PRQ tokens to a self-custody wallet due to the delisting on June 6, 2025. Once withdrawn, tokens can be migrated to REACT via the Token Portal.

Note: REACT is not automatically supported on all exchanges. To trade REACT post-migration, use the ERC-20 Wrapped REACT version on supported platforms.

Project Status

This transition is part of a planned upgrade and does not indicate any disruption to the Reactive Network. The platform remains operational and is progressing as intended.

  • The total token supply mirrors the original PRQ issuance: 500 million.
  • There is no VC allocation; all token distribution is community-based.
  • REACT includes deflationary mechanisms and supports utility through network participation and staking.

The migration strengthens the network’s alignment with its core principles of decentralization, interoperability, and automation.

Exchange Listings

REACT (ERC-20) is currently available on several trading platforms, including:

  • Uniswap
  • Gate.io
  • KuCoin

Additional listings are in progress to improve accessibility and market depth.

Staking Program: Phase 1 Live Now

The Reactive Network Staking Program – Phase 1 (64+ million REACT tokens staked) is currently ongoing and concludes on June 9, 2025 (block #1,157,133).

Participants can stake REACT via the Token Portal and will be able to claim or restake rewards at the end of the epoch.

Phase 2 begins June 10 and introduces three structured pools (30, 60, and 90 days) with a combined reward pool of 2.3 million REACT. Each pool offers different reward levels based on commitment duration.

More details coming soon.
