What is Reactive Network and $REACT token

Reactive Network’s mainnet goes live on March 5, 2025, introducing a new era of event-driven smart contracts, cross-chain automation, and AI-powered dApps—unlocking unparalleled possibilities for blockchain innovation.

What is Reactive Network and $REACT token

On March 5th, 2025, Reactive Network will officially launch its mainnet, introducing the world’s first native data execution layer for reactive smart contracts, redefining how decentralized applications are built and automated. This breakthrough enables smart contracts to autonomously observe and react to on-chain and off-chain events in real time, unlocking unparalleled possibilities for AI, DeFi, cross-chain workflows, and commercial use cases. The launch builds on the success of the Kopli Testnet, which went live on April 24, 2024, processing 2,217,363 transactions and 925,133 blocks mined, proving the network’s scalability and stability.

TL;DR:

  • Reactive Network allows AI agents to seamlessly integrate with Web3, enabling them to observe, process, and react to events autonomously, perform machine learning, and create AI-powered dApps, accelerating Web3 AI adoption.
  • The network enhances cross-chain interoperability, enabling DeFi protocols, dApps, and tokens to react to cross-chain events in real time without having to pull data off-chain, paving the way for automated workflows and advanced decentralized derivatives.
  • Businesses often face barriers when trying to synchronize blockchain with off-chain systems. Reactive Network simplifies this by enabling reactive, event-driven solutions without requiring complex backend setups. It empowers commercial applications in IoT, logistics, and supply chain automation, offering a true bridge between blockchain and real-world operations.
  • Reactive Network is powered by the REACT token, the ecosystem’s utility token, which drives network operations, validator rewards, and event log processing fees. Featuring a deflationary model, REACT ensures long-term sustainability and fairness, with no VC allocations and 1:1 swap from PRQ tokens.

Reactive Network solves blockchain’s biggest challenges—scalability, interoperability, and automation—marking the start of a new era in Web3 innovation.

From PARSIQ to Reactive Network

When we started PARSIQ in 2018, our goal was clear: bridge the gap between blockchain networks and real-world systems. Back then, blockchain monitoring and automation were still in their infancy. Building anything that could integrate on-chain data with off-chain systems required extensive development time and specialized expertise.

PARSIQ introduced Smart Triggers, a groundbreaking technology that allowed developers to set up real-time monitoring of blockchain events and trigger actions in external systems. Whether it was sending alerts to Telegram, integrating blockchain data into Google Sheets, or automating compliance workflows, PARSIQ quickly became an essential tool for businesses and developers.

However, as the blockchain space matured, limitations began to emerge. On-chain automation, while valuable, was limited in scope. The lack of interoperability between blockchains meant data and assets were siloed. And with the rise of DeFi, NFTs, and complex smart contract use cases, the need for scalable, event-driven workflows became more evident.

It became clear that the next step wasn’t to keep iterating on PARSIQ—it was to build something entirely new. Something that didn’t just monitor blockchain activity but actively reacted to it in real-time, seamlessly integrated with other networks, and provided developers with a platform to create interoperable, automated dApps. This vision became Reactive Network.

Introducing Reactive Network

Reactive Network redefines blockchain infrastructure with its innovative data-driven execution layer for Reactive Smart Contracts, enabling event-driven automation and real-time, cross-chain workflows. Built to address the challenges of scalability, interoperability, and automation, Reactive Network provides a robust foundation for decentralized applications to move beyond the limitations of traditional systems.

Unlike many existing networks that primarily focus on isolated transactions, Reactive’s event-driven design allows smart contracts to dynamically respond to events both on-chain and off-chain. From automating advanced DeFi workflows to enabling AI agents to process and respond to blockchain events fully on-chain, Reactive Network is designed to power the next wave of innovation in Web3.

Our core audience includes:

  • Developers, who can use our tech to create powerful, automated dApps with minimal overhead.
  • Businesses, looking for scalable and interoperable solutions for payments, workflows, and governance.
  • Investors, who recognize the value of a sustainable, utility-driven blockchain ecosystem.

Architecture and Technology

Event-Driven Architecture and ReactVM

At the core of Reactive is its event-driven architecture, enabling smart contracts to dynamically respond to on-chain triggers (like wallet transfers or state changes) and off-chain inputs (such as price feeds or IoT data). This allows developers to automate complex workflows using "If This, Then That" logic, reducing manual intervention. Powering this is the ReactVM, a high-performance execution engine optimized for multi-threaded processing, enabling simultaneous execution of smart contracts for increased scalability. With its gas-efficient model and sandboxed environment for secure and isolated execution, ReactVM ensures that Reactive Smart Contracts operate efficiently, securely, and at lower costs, making it ideal for real-time, automated applications.

Cross-Chain Interoperability

Reactive Network is designed for seamless cross-chain automation and is fully EVM-compatible, making it an ideal environment for developers building on Ethereum and other EVM-based chains. By integrating General Message Passing (GMP) protocols, Reactive Network enables decentralized, trustless communication between multiple blockchains.

This interoperability allows assets, data, and smart contracts to interact across different networks, creating a unified ecosystem for decentralized applications. Future expansions will incorporate additional cross-chain messaging solutions, further decentralizing and enhancing connectivity across blockchains.

Proof-of-Stake Consensus

Our network uses a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism, which is efficient, scalable, and environmentally friendly. Validators stake REACT tokens to secure the network and validate transactions, earning rewards in the process. PoS enables Reactive Network to achieve high transaction throughput while maintaining decentralization and security.

The Real-World Applications

Reactive’s flexibility unlocks diverse use cases across industries, driving automation and interoperability. In DeFi, it enables automated liquidity rebalancing, on-chain trading with stop-loss and limit orders, and cross-chain governance, allowing seamless decision-making across multiple ecosystems. For NFTs, Reactive Smart Contracts facilitate dynamic NFTs that evolve based on real-time events and automated royalty adjustments linked to trading activity or predefined conditions. AI-driven applications also thrive on Reactive, enabling intelligent automation for fully on-chain DeFi trading bots, predictive analytics, and autonomous decision-making systems that dynamically interact with blockchain events. In IoT, it supports pay-as-you-go models, real-time logistics automation, and IoT-triggered micropayments for energy usage or sensor data sharing. Beyond these, Reactive addresses insurance automation with event-driven payouts, cross-chain token bridging for asset transfers, and prediction markets that settle payouts based on external events. These use cases demonstrate Reactive's ability to transform decentralized applications across AI, finance, supply chains, IoT, and digital asset ecosystems.

The $REACT Token and $PRQ Migration

Wrapped REACT (ERC-20) Contract Address: 0x817162975186d4D53dBF5a7377dd45376e2D2fc5

The launch of Reactive Network introduces the REACT token, replacing the PRQ token from the original PARSIQ ecosystem. Here’s a clear breakdown:

  • Native Utility Token: The $REACT token is the native gas coin of Reactive Network, driving its ecosystem with a community-first approach. As a gas coin $REACT will be at the core of Reactive Network.
  • 1:1 Swap Ratio: $REACT tokens will be swapped 1:1 with PRQ tokens, ensuring no loss of value for $PRQ holders.
  • Token Supply: $REACT retains $PRQ’s original total supply of 500 million tokens, with an initial circulating supply capped at no greater than 310,256,872 tokens.
  • Fair Distribution: No allocations are made to VCs or private investors. All $REACT tokens are acquired through the public market, reflecting a commitment to fairness and decentralization.
  • The REACT token powers:
    • Gas Fees: Payment for transactions and contract execution on the network.
    • Staking and Rewards: Validators secure the network by staking $REACT and earn rewards. Explore staking details.
    • Event Log Processing Fees: Reactive Smart Contracts utilize $REACT tokens to cover processing fees for event logs, enabling autonomous execution of event-driven workflows and ensuring seamless functionality across the network.
  • PRQ-to-REACT Swap: A two-way bridge and support from exchanges ensure a seamless token migration for $PRQ holders. Learn more about the migration.
  • Deflationary Mechanism: Transaction and processing fees in $REACT are burned, and while new tokens are minted to reward validators, the network becomes deflationary once daily burns exceed minted rewards, ensuring long-term scarcity and sustainability.
  • Wrapped $REACT: In addition to launching on its native Reactive Network, a wrapped ERC20 version of $REACT will simultaneously launch on Ethereum. This allows holders to easily access on-chain liquidity across the most popular decentralized exchanges like Uniswap, streamlines the process of securing listings on centralized exchanges and also facilitates easy storage by ensuring compatibility with most cold storage solutions.
